Body Measurements
The main character in I Am Big asks the question “I am nine years old and I am a little kid but l am BIG in size. How can you be small and big at the same time?” In this activity we will explore differences in height and body ratios and explore how people can be big or small but we all have certain body ratios in common.

Go outside or to a local rink or arena and play ice hockey, or road hockey, or even soccer, and discuss the different angles and speeds that the players have to take into account in order to get the puck or ball into the net.
